Earlier this year, I travelled through Central and South America. I moved from the beaches of Rio de Janeiro to the salt flats of Bolivia, the active volcanoes of Guatemala, and to the bustling cities and small coastal towns of Mexico.
The people, colours, and landscapes were all postcard-worthy, but it was the moments in between that truly inspired this collection. Music spilling into the streets, late-night conversations, and the warm light hitting crystal clear beaches.
Postcards from Jessica Gurnsey is my way of bringing some of those moments home.

I’ll be exhibiting the full collection alongside many talented New Zealand artists at the Tauranga Art Show. Friday the 28th – Sunday the 30th of August.
